I cannot believe that tomorrow is December 1st. Wow, this year has flown by.
Charlie turned 8 months old today! He is crawling all over the place!!! Matt had to baby proof the house a few weekends ago....and let me just say I am not a fan of having to undo those things EVERY time I need to get into a drawer or cabinet! Oh well, as long as Charlie is safe :).
Charlie has 2 teeth that have come through the gums. They are not fully in but they are getting close. He loves to chew on everything. He is still eating stage 2 foods for the most part but loves table food. He also loves yogurt melts. He feels like such a big boy when he is eating them.
We had to move to the next car seat last weekend. He was too big for the other one. He seems to like this one just as well, which is a huge relief to me. I was afraid he was going to hate it.
Charlie got a really bad cold this week and was coughing a bunch and had lots of congestion. I absolutely hate it when he is sick. Especially with this stuff because there is no medicine he can take for it. I stayed home with him Wednesday and we just cuddled and layed around the house. I think this made him feel better! (or maybe it just made ME feel better :) ). He seems to be feeling much better today though (thank goodness!).
Charlie was a tree frog for Halloween. He wasn't really a fan of Halloween. He didn't seem to understand why I dressed him up in a costume and took him places to see people :). Luckily, I took him to The Old Mill a few days before halloween and took some good pictures. He was really happy that day and didn't seem to mind the costume. However, halloween was a different story. Oh well, there is always next year.
Thanksgiving was good. Charlie didn't want to take a nap that day though because there was too much going on and too many people. But he seemed to enjoy himself.
We got our Christmas tree out last weekend and he discovered it this week. He is not real sure about it. I think he is confused why we have a tree in our house?! haha.
I hope you had a wonderful, relaxing Thanksgiving holiday. And, buckle up because Christmas is just around the corner!
Here are some of my favorite pics from the last couple of months. Sorry there are so many, I just couldn't seem to narrow them down. They are all my favorites :).
